Planing our game.

Our game idea is to have a racecar going around a track. racing for the corrct awnser. if they get the correct awnser they speed up and they will have more of a chance to win.If they get the wrong awnser then the car will slow down,then it wont when the game.

WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific!)-My game teaches about Slope.


WHERE does your game happen?
Describe the world you will design for your game. -Ours will take place on a racetrack.

How will this setting add to the learning experience? It Makes it funner to learn.

HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic?-It does because the car is racing around to get the correct awnsers.

What happens in the world that helps the player learn?-The car races aruond the track to get the question right.

How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game? - if they get the awnser correct the car speeds up.

WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz? -It makes it funner to learn the topic.

Gaming in my free time.

When I play games on the computer in my free time I usally play "action" games. I don't really know why but they just seem interesting to play? Playing games is usally what I do when i get bored.

i can't wait to start working on our games. So far it's been really fun. It does get a little difficult at points throughout the creation of the game. Other than that I found it really interesting to learn how to d "code" and other stuff.:)

We finally finished up our mini-games and posted our ending results onto our wiki's projects page.we uploaded both "SWF" and Our "FLA" files to the wiki!:)

Action Script.

today we worked on descoving everything about action script. We explored on our "mini game project" template on our wikis. It helped us learn more about how action script works.

Yesterday we worked on our mini-games. I think this process is going to be a very fun experience. i also think that we will learn a lot. I can't wait to see our finishing result.!:D

Internet Safety.

Internet safety is a very vidal thing to be aware of when using a computer. The world wide web is of course wiewed by many user of the world. Which means if your not careful and responsible,people that you don't know can look at what you think is personel but by not being careful with what you put on the internet it can all turn very badly if your not careful!.

My choice in A game design genre

I am leaning more towards doing a game set on a more "sports" genre. My partner and I (zach) are thinking about maybe doing a race car game where i'll ask a question then if u get it right it will give you bonuses , but if ou get the question incorrect it'll will put things onto the track to stall or prevent you from winning the race.
